Brain Scout SE-B 5000S Feeder Reel – Power, Durability and Reliability

Brain Scout SE-B 5000S Feeder Reel – Power, Durability and Reliability

The Brain Scout SE-B 5000S is the second generation of Brain’s popular feeder reel series, designed for anglers who demand exceptional cranking power, long-term durability and dependable performance on the bank. Featuring significant internal upgrades and a reinforced drive system, this reel is built to handle demanding feeder fishing situations with ease.

At the heart of the Scout SE-B is a large 38 mm aluminium main gear, delivering impressive torque and increased mechanical strength. Combined with a 4.9:1 gear ratio, it provides smooth and efficient retrieves, making it ideal for heavy feeders, method feeders and large fish.

The reel features an 8+1 sealed bearing system, strategically positioned throughout the drivetrain, line roller and handle for smooth operation and enhanced longevity. A screw-in CNC aluminium handle eliminates unwanted play and ensures direct power transfer under load.

Its lightweight yet rigid carbon composite body and rotor offer excellent strength without excessive weight, while the aluminium spool is fitted with a spring-loaded round line clip for precise distance fishing without damaging the line.
